SPRC'S SUMMER OUTREACH UPDATE

Dear Friends and Supporters,

We are so excited to let you know, that our annual X-WAY Student Camp is over. Two teams of total 8 missionaries from CrossCreek Church, AL and CrossPointe Church, TX as long as 34 Ukrainians from our church held that camp in Kiev suburbs. We have invited 38 non-Christian students to teach them English, culture, to have fun with them and... TO SHARE THE GOSPEL AND TO SHOW THEM CHRIST IN US AND BETWEEN US. From now I could say that in spite of many obsticles such as less people in US team, than was expected, lower budget and 3 major changes of the whole camp schedule it turned out to be ONE OF THE BEST of all camps we had since 2004. Another unique fact about this camp: on Friday, when we had a worship service in the camp we had the best attendance of non-Christian students to that event since 2004. 34 of 38 students has come to see our worship and 11 came to the church on Sunday. What a great joy to all of us!!! What gift could be better to see non-Christian young people crying on the worship service hearing the sermon - the simple Gospel presentation!!!! The camp is over, but the students are still spending literally 24\7 with our staff, talking, walking around the city, watching movies together, etc!!!! Great joy to my heart, great joy!!!! Really, it was God's hand upon this camp this year - wу were so close to cancel it, but He made it perfect. Our church guys has grown up a lot through this also - people were looking at them saying: You guys, are so great and we have never saw such relationships between people. Amazing praise to our Lord from a mouth of a non-believer!!!! Some new leaders have arised among our camp staff!!!! Thank you for your prayers, our friends! Those were really heard! Thanks to the teams from Austin and Birmingham - you did it great, guys!!!!!

Our newsletter about our trip to Suffolk, VA is still to come after the 7th of August - we just haven't enough time to meet as a team between that trip and our summer camp and praise be to God for all he has done this summer and is doing literally right now among those students (tears).
